The setup I posted with the bent tube isnt too complex. I went to a metal shop and had 3 180 degreee hoops made, since we dont have a bender. One I used for the driveshaft crossmember, the other 2 I cut in half and used to make the bag mounts. Just think outside the box a bit. Just because you dont OWN a bender, doesnt mean you cant do a bent tube setup for relatively cheap and easy.

People that say its built not bought are to broke to pay for it or have no concept of money earned money spent.

So because mine is built by me and I didn't pay some shop to do it means im to broke to have a shop do it or I have no concept of money earned money spent???

I don't think so dude.... you might want to re-phrase that I think.

If you say someone paying to have work done is fake or lazy then you have no concept of money earned money spent.if you have no money and use that as an excuse to hack up your truck it's the same thing. If your good enough to build your own stuff then you have earned something special but is your truck better than someone that worked for years to pay me?No it is not...So go ahead and post your signature as built not bought or if you didn't build it it's not yours but all that tells me is your havn't progressed in this scene enough to know what it means..

Your opinion is still a little messed up.

If someone has the attitude that their ride is better bacause they built it themselves over someone who saved up and paid to have it done by a shop, then yeah I can see your point.

Depending how you read what you wrote i can see 2-sides I guess.

Im sure people out there can build their own stuff better than you can build someones ride that paid you to do it. (i dont think thats what your getting at though)

save up.. it cant be done by yourself over night. its your daily huh? it will take someone inexperienced a good few weeks to get it done RIGHT.

that will be your best bet bro. you need patience when building a truck. if you don't have patience, you'll never have a truck. save your money, take time, do it right. having your truck layed out is not a neccessity. i can give you a shop's number in Cape Coral, they've hooked me up, they're not over priced, and he does damn good work. but let me ask you this. not trying to be a dick, and i know this post is about your 4 link. but you seem to be in a hurry to get this done, so to make sure you're prepaired. what are you going to do with your front setup? are you buying control arms, do you got drop spindles? what about crossmembers? are you ready to notch for the steering linkage? Relocating the thigns under the hood? Wiring harness and brake booster depending on your tire size. Putting a notch and some brackets in the rear is the easier part.

building something strong and knowing the physics of suspension are two different things. if you dont know anything about setting up suspensions then your welds wont mean a damn thing. again, im not trying to be an asshole.

There is no bashing going on.

Maybe you see it like that cause you are to proud to take people's advice and stuff?? I dunno??

Bags on the bars just wont work without chopping the bed up pretty good or raising it like someoene said before. You say you are on a budget, well if you do end up doing a bag on bar setup, your gas tank is going to play hell on you being in the way of the forward driver side mounts. I mean it is possible to design a setup that would work with the stock tank but more than likely youd end up wanting to get a fuel cell. Time you pay for a fuel cell and the tri 4 link, youd be almost better off buying a suicide doors 3 link ... just an idea

4link, blazer gas tank, and only a hole for my notch on my daily driver. RE8s on the lowers.Cheap, reliable, and still gives me use of the bed. Whats your email? I'll send you some pictures.or email me david4991@gmail.com and I'll send you some.
