The bent tube on mine is nothing hard. We used a hand pump pipe bender. It doesnt have to be 4 inches when you body drop your bed. It depends if you want a clean lookin floor and want everything underneath it. You might have to go more then 4 inchs. To make up for the space between the bed mounts we took square tube (2 different sizes) drilled a hole on each side and welded a nut to it. Slide the peices together and you put a bolt in it, that way you can adjust it to get the body lines right.

it might be best to listen to John. i'm not the best, but here's what i know. the only way to eliminate bed intrustion is by having a raised floor. Raising the bed floor is the same principal as body dropping your bed, but you'll shim it back to stock position. i was reading your profile and it says your planning on a bd anyway, so why not though? i also saw you're looking for a reverse 4. almost everyone agrees that's a very bad idea. you might want to look into building or buying a 5 link set up. you get a forward 3 that clears everything and 2 reverse square bars for your bag on bar to give you the lift.as for backhalfing, it just means building a custom back half section of your frame, normally from the cab back. allowing you to accomodate more specific ideas.

Setup I did. Its on a BD'd truck (raised floor)For a daily driven truck, i definetley would use such a high lever ratio. This customer wanted crazy lift, and the trucks not gonna be a daily. Plus we dropped a couple hundred on some heavy duty 1 ton van shocks for it. haha.

you guys are twisting the whole question i asked around and making me sound stupid
i know about body drops
and i know what i need to do
the only thing i said was i want a simple pipe set up because im not going to body drop my bed and i want to keep the most sheet metal on my floor as i can and i dont like alot of unessary pipes holding the bag brackets
so how about you read before you go claming i need to have some one else do my work

and also im not making this set up for lift

WHAT EVERYONE IS TRYING TO TELL YOU,IS IN ORDER TO HAVE A GOOD RIDE LIKE YOU WANT,THEN YOU NEED A LEVERAGE SETUP,YES IT GIVES ALOT MORE LIFT THAN YOU WANT BUT IT ALSO RIDES A HELL OF ALOT BETTER THAN A BAG OVER AXLE SETUP AND THE BAGS ARENT EVEN SEEN THROUGH THE BED.
