Yep... you guessed it.

I'm currently motivated on my dually again for this show season... and like each and every one of you, I know the only way to get any dually to look correct is on a set of semis.

My question is... what is the most reasonable way to get a set of 22's on these trucks??

Is it really worth piecing a set together, buying wheels, adapters, milling them, and tires seperately??

IDK if I can stomach somewhere in the 5k range for wheels for my truck, and honestly almost makes me want to just sell it with the teens on it and continue to build my c10.

I think this is a good discussion... lets hear your input.

man i hear that! semis are so much money. i think the fords gonna stay on the 16's till i at least double my annual salery it sucks real bad for me cause 100 feet from my work is a peter bilt dealer so i just gaze at the wheels as i drive by, such a tease. makes you think of getting some cinder blocks and goin to a truck stop huh

have you had lock shoot you a price..!!! the wheels are not really that expsensive compared to other wheels .. its the 800 to 900 hundred bucks your gunna pay for the adaptors..

I think one time on here he mentioned you could get unpolished but milled semi's for $300 a piece run your stock inner and polish them yourself or paint them and that's less than most wheels even w/ the adapters.

I could be wrong tho.

Happened one other time.

yea i am running my stock inners for now because i am saving money for other stuff..

You can't see the inners anyway. Isn't it kind of a waste to put a semi on the inside. Unless you just want to be a balla.

Husker was right about the $300 wheels, but they are used and have the everyday wear and tear from life on the road. For 300 you get a wheel that has bee acid cleaned and milled to a 22. You will have to sand and polish the wheel. If you pay someone to do it you are looking at 50+ for the fronts and 80+ for the rears.
If you are just looking for some wheels to roll around on used is the way to go. But I tell most of my customers who are trying to build show trucks that these wheels are not show quality (IMO) and if they want show quality they should go with new.
As for the 5k for a set. I can put you in some 24s for that.

No offense but trying to figure the cheapest way and show quality do not go together.

No offense, but semis are overrated IMO.
