my buddys toy was bd'd to the pinch on 20s and the wheels came real close to the hood. you may be able to lay rocker with a 30 series tire but im not sure. if you have any questions you can hit him up on here, his sn is "ilovemins"

cool, man thanks for the info. im running 225/35/20s on 8.5 inch rims right now. the tires are somewhat swelled towards the edges of the wheels so that makes them a little bit shorter. i think its gonna work out...we might have to "cheat" the front end upward just a cunthair even after skinning the hood and fender (i want to have enough room to reinforce the fender) but i think when its all said and done it will be badass and work perfectly. ill drag it till i burn a hole through the fenders and hood if i have to

so does anybody know of anybody at the rocker in this bodystyle yota on 20 inch wheels?? i dont know whether to be excited or worried...

guess im just gonna have to get this clip on tomorrow and do some more measuring from there...firewall is not an issue, were gonna make a one-off smoothed rounded firewall, but i dont wanna bubble the hood or fenders or come through them. right now its too close to call, but at this point i guess im going to do whatever it takes to get it down on the rocker on my wheels. Anyone have any pictures of these bodydropped yotas on larger wheels inside the engine bay?

As far as I know they are all just to the pinch. A guy in my club did a 4Runner to the pinch, and it looks like theres about 1/2" from the tire to the top of the fender, and the pinch is 3/4" tall. If you have like 5 degrees camber laid out, you can probably skin everything and let the tires flex it up.

thanks seth...im hopin to not have to let the tires flex it up...i am an addicted dragger and i like to be flat out when doin it, but if i can only lay the rear out while driving, i think it will be worth it. do you know what tires and what width wheels he had? i would like to know every detail...

by the way, seth, i love how your truck is coming along and i had already scored some voodoo blue from my buddy who works at a paint store just days before you showed your firewall on here...now im trying to figure out whether to ditch it or 2 tone it or what because i dont want to bite on anybodys style...ive loved that color since the owner of the business beside my work got his FJ.

Wheels: 20x8 Enki LM1 Tires: 245-30-20It works out to 25.8" tall.

Thanks man. I fell in love with the blue first time I saw it as well. I had the paint for a few weeks before I sprayed it. I just wanted to be the first one to have it on my truck. Lol. I don't care if you use it, its not even the same bodystyle. No one will mistake one for the other. Lol.
