i know there have been topics on this but i guess they erased them all,my question is can i do this myself with spray paint??

i have done it before with spray paint...i always just mist the taillight from pretty far away, that way you can put several coats on it until you get it as dark as you want...i usually use the high gloss engine enamel

go to the hobby store, they have mini cans of smoke paint, its daRK GREY AND if you use a liot it goes black, good luck, or it comes in trans red,.

I have used the metal cast paint and it works great and shines nice.. heres a link, they sell it at all the auto stores but they normaly dont have "smoke" on the shelf

They have some here in oklahoma city at massey's accessories. It's like 4 dollars a can. But all it is, is a can of spray on window tint! I used it on my taillights and they turned out sweet. Only problem is i didn't know how to spray it and it ran. But look for spray on window tint! It'll tint the lights dark black but the light functions will still shine through fine.

Use VHT nite shades. I used it on my old sebring (would post pictures but dont know how) I still have the cars profile in here though. Anyways it lasted years and light went through really good ... here is a link to some. http://www.autotoys.com/x/cust/product.php?productid=1990&cat=195&page=1

yea i just wish there was a place i could buy it around here so i can do it befor turkey dragg,do they sell anything at oryles or autozone or any parts store???

Use proper car paint, clear with black kandy toner will give you the best results and the best shine...
