It's also a lot easier to replace a clutch then swapping out the 5-speed for an automatic.

we just did a clutch in my 150 dollar part runner Clifford (the big red dawg) and it was two bitches and a half, one of the bellhousing bolts was bent from the monkey who put it in before us. I was ready to tow it away.
