i agree with everyone else, to lay full frame on 20s you gotta cut the bed, my front end layed out on 20s on 255/35s, with stock spindles and LCA's and slam RE7 or 2700lb bags, we just mildly modified the LCA's, cut the upper spring pocket out and ran an upper bag plate off of the frame

On your LCA's, what kinda LCA's did you use and how much of the spring pocket did u have to remove and or modify? If all that is keeping it from laying frame is the tranny c-member I can live with that. I just hate cutting the bed. I've found several different smaller c-notches that bolt in but I plan on having it welded. I've looked on the ride's page here and seems most everyone is cutting the frame pretty good. would like to see a smaller c-notch pic on here if anyone knows of any.

i'm on 22's, so not 100% sure, but i don't see anyway of laying w/o cutting the bed... i'm still on the xmember, well, 1/4" off it actually, but still needed to get into the bed a lot...

man id be more worried about notching my frame then cutting the bed, just because its cut doesnt mean you have to keep a hole in it, i dont think you would have to come very far into the bed to make it lay, you could make a very simple notch cover and tubs and still have plenty of bed room to use it however you need to

yeah to what tyler is sayin, u can get the notch cover and tubs from suicide doors for like 120 shipped i believe, just tack em in and roll out

its worth the extra grinding ro fit a RE 7 than an RE 6... im running He7/ He8 on my truck

i agree with joel on the extra grinding for 7s, and im running 8s on the back of mine as well, only because the new frame is going to be alot heavier than the stock one

hmmm, save your money w/ the Lower Control arms, just cut the factory ones down and replate them and weld a bag cup in there. Cut off the upper spring pocket and use one of the plates they sell for rear bag mounts that people usually weld to the side of notches, weld that into where your old spring pocket was, thats setup to not rub on a rs7 (2600)lb bag. make sure your lower Control Arms is smooth so when the bags aired out it dont rum on the welding nuggets and notch for the tie rods. Congrats, you just saves about 5 or 600 on not using lower control arms, and if you ever wanna go to a 24", then buy a spindle. and cut the bed a little bit, breathing in metal is good for you. it makes you strong. So mine lays on the stock wheels 235/70/16" which are right at 29" tall & thats plenty tall to tuck a 20" wheel, i'd say unless your gettinthe 20's for like 500 bux w/ tires, then just get 22's. if your gonna have to cut the bed for 20's you my as well cutit for 22's cause i reallythink anything less then a 22" on a fullsize truck is pretty weak, it just looks goofy. Anyways, goodluck w/the build and if you have any other questions for methen IM me or whatever. oh and bodydrop it to the doors.

ummm yea its deffinatly not that easy to lay on 24's... yes id agree if you gonna do the work id wait for 22's but you also have to do alot more to lay on 22's than just on 20's.. specially in the front relocating a bunch of stuff and tubing firewall...

well, i didnt mention relocating everything =) or tubbin, But you myas well only do it one time.
