does yours maybe have a reflash in it already? And how ya like them big injectors.. worth the coin?

No reflash....was bone stock when I bought it. The injectors make a rather noticable difference but fuel mileage may be slighty compromised. Not real sure on the fmileage difference. It only cost me like $550 for the injectors and to have them installed.

everyone keeps posting PMD what is PMD? i will be looking on mautofied...not looking to spend 19 thats for sure...looking to spend between 8 and 12....depending on miles and mods...the truck will proly end up being a somewhat of a daily for me..i have a honda beater to save gas..but i want this one for luxury....with the 6.5 diesel and a body drop done..can u keep cruise control or a/c? what about a engine driven compressor or two...that possible? i wuld definitly be lookin to boost the motor..with injectors...boost controller...whatever i can do to make it quicker..and louder of course

the pmd- pump mounted driver, it's a little box that tells the pump what to do and very hard to distinguish wether its that or the pump when either fails and for $250+ a pop non-returnable they pretty much blow ass. Also called the fsd-fuel solenoid driver

reflashes/injectors/and more.. I hear more people say they like the heath reflash over the kennedy since it's a little more aggressive



the 4" exhaust off ebay for the cheap $250 or whatever it is is great and can be had a few bucks cheaper through j jardine exhaust themselves.

and check out the dieselplace.com for good reading on adding an intercooler since 6.5's didnt get one of them:(

I'm in the prosess of building my cold air intake because no one make's any thing for the sqbdy's but after talking with lots of people about cold air intakes they all kindof said the samething "k&n what hunk of shit"

has any one put a spacerplate ie airaide or motorvation and did you notice how much it whistles

Currently mine has marine injectors, 4 exhaust from the turbo back, and an air intake, as well as the mandatory boost, pyro, and trans temp gauges. I hope to one day ditch the vaccum pump and go with a manual wastegate controller, 65 horse computer, and an intercooler.

My step side whistled with the poweraid one. I liked it though. Sounded mean with the 5spd manual behind it.

I did the manual boost controller.. took about 15minutes and cost $4

I took the heat cover off the turbo, removed the wastegate actuator by drilling the spot welds that hold it on. Then used a j-hook rod for a battery hold down, washer and nut. A couple test drives to set it and was done. Mine would spike at 17psi so I turned it down some because the ecm would freak and start defueling until it reset.

I'm starting to like the whistle when I mocked up my air intake it was a lot more noticable when your standing in front of the truck
