Ok this is driving me crazy, got a 99 s-10 with the suicide 3 link! when your driving around 60 or 70, high speeds and let off of the gas there is this rattling noise??? it did it when the bed was off so its not anything on the bed body wise! as soon as you give it gas it goes away, it also does it worse the lower it is! when it all the way up it doesnt do it at all! has anyone ever had a noise like this?? what is the best way of pinpointing it???? i cant seem to find it! thanks guys later

I have the same thing...I think I narrowed mine down to it being the driveshaft...

Mine won't do it all the time but it does it very often.

I don't know what to do to fix it, but I know I have the same problem with mine.

my max does a wierd noise like that goin down the interstate it happens right when i let off the gas but mines not a rattle its more a slight rub/grinding noise and i think it has something 2 do with the pinion angel because like u said at the right height it will do it less or stop all 2 gether i havent fixed mine yet because im redoin my 4 link right now so when im done hopefully it will have fixed it

off set pinion angle, be sure your in right rear end alignment although check your tranny fluid.... unless the gears behind the housing are griding and leaving metal shards....

does it give a delay more then normal when you acclerate? if so, check your u joints

SOUNDS LIKE THE PINION ANGLE IS THE PROBLEM
