Theres no tuning a Toyota carb, its just set. All the fuel adjustments run off of linkage thats progressive under the carb it looks like. Theres an idle mixture screw, but that still doesnt do shit for any other rpm. The fuel lines are already pretty tiny.

Congrats on getting a page in MT dude... Thats like having your name in the bible so cool...

what about putting something in the jet of the carby to try and slow the flow down? (Note I no shit all about mechanical stuff)

what about a fuel pressure regulator?? that should work to be able to turn your fuel down, at least to get you through emissions.

depends if your parts store has any.. you'll need some new fuel lines and fittings too.

its a piece you can mount on your firewall, inline goes to it, one goes from it to the carb, and there is a screw you adjust to get more or less PSI to the motor.. but besure you dont lean it down low too much b/c mid/up top you'll be lean as fuck and have no fuel.

i'd suggest trying your local parts house, but a speed shop is more so to have one.

expect to bay 50-100 for a decent one.

if you wanna use some no name JC Whitney junk.. no offence if you like this part.. but i use to built engines and using junk is not the way to go.

hey seth if it is dumping fuel dow nthe ventury(SP) that is a good sign that the idel bypasses are cludged you need to get a small drill and drill them out to get the stuff out i work in a carburetor shop after that they usally run great later

I have no idea what you just said. Looking at the breakdown of my carburetor it doesnt show an idle bypass. Theres just fast idleadjustment screw.

As for the pressure regulator, I'll call the parts store. The one I go to doubles as a speed shop.
