look.. vw is not the god of racing. import guys use delta wastegates all the time.. does it make them any good? no. infact they suck with huge boost spikes. vw guys use em b/c they are cheap i am sure. i have never used one and wont.. i stick to what is tried and true.

Yeah I'm working on a tight ass budget right now due to getting fawked on the first carb I bought.

I got a Holley FPR for $30 today. Gonna try to hook it up tomorrow. After rebuilding the carb, the truck feels gutless in 1st. Does good after that though.

My fault Seth. Anyways, I saw a little ago where you said your compressor still rattles your truck like crazy I believe. I was wondering, where the actual mount, meets the frame...what if you put a rubber spacer there as well? Would that not help vibration to a certain extent?

Most likely it would. I might try it. But I think I'm going to mount the compressor in the bed once I get there, so that might help. Right now the mount is so beefy I think it just transfers everything to the frame. Its not bad, you can just feel a light vibration when you turn it on. It feels like a driveline vibration kind of.

do you not have any fatmat left? fatmat the mount that the compressor is on.
