so u used the front suspension and the rear axle from the RX7 on ur truck? what lug pattern does the first gen RX7 have?

This is my truck Clint is talking about. The rear end is out of the first Gen GSL Rx7's. It has rear disks, LSD, and it is the exact same width as the factory truck rear end. I needed to have the end of the RX7 drive shaft welded to the truck shaft but that didnt cost much at all. The rear end started off 4lug but I had the axles redrilled to 5 lug and drilled new holes in the rotors. If you are keeping the leaf springs you will have to figure out a way to mount it to them but if you are doing any kind of link setup like mine you will be fine. Last but not least you will have to add a proportioning valve inline to your rear brake lines to get the right fluid pressure. We didn't do anything with the front suspension, Clint was just saying that the front of the rear end housing looks exactlly the same as the truck one.

I have a RX-7 IRS in my mazzy and the drive line bolted up just needed to get it shortened a little, it has disk brakes of course, just had a problem finding the right banjo fitting, and found out the thread pitch on the lug bolts is just slightly diffrent I torqued them down but they ended up coming lose on the way to Drop Zone, also what ever rear end you go with you'll need a proportioning valve. Whoops just read the post above and noticed he already mentioned the PV oh well, but that rear end he mentioned sounds cool too.
