I know alot of guys are running the Extensive arms up fron when bagging the new Rams, but has anybody run a set of ART arms? I'm just wanting a comparison of the two if possible. I don't know if I trust flipping the ball joint for a daily driver. Any personal experience with either of these arms would be great, good or bad.

The Ekstensive arms are awesome. Very well built and damn near bulletproof. As for the ART arms they won't let you lay very easily. Everyone I know with the art arms say they were a waste of money and are tryin to get the EK arms. As for flipping the balljoint, I don't see any problems with it as a daily. The EK arms use a chevy balljoint which is alot bigger than the dodge lower ball joint. Actually whenever you reverse ream the spindle, you drill out all of the original taper for the dodge balljoint. Therefor the taper is constant on the chevy balljoint. I drive mine everyday, I've put about 10,000 miles on it since I bagged the front and no problems. I know several other people who've put 50,000plus on the flipped balljoints without a problem. The EK arms or a set of customs are the only way to go, when laying these trucks out on big wheels, unless you know somone else who can make you a set just like the EK arms.

i've been rollin on stock arms with flipped ball joints for about 3 years now. ive had to change balljoints out once, and i drive it every single day. rain or shine, but i got me some Ekstensive arms now...

Your a badass though Jose so it don't matter. If you and Chuck Norris got in a fight, he would barely beat you. You would give up and let him win so the world wouldn't come to an end. Since his round house kicks make the world revolve. lol

ekstensive metal works makes 2 versions. the first set was sold to my buddy which uses the OE dodge balljoint. on theses you will have to re-use the part the balljoint sits in. the 2nd generation uses the chevy ball joint.

I might be wrong but I don't think they make them anymore. Either way i'm pretty sure you have to flip the balljoint. If I was flipping the balljoint I would rather use the chevy balljoint since the shaft is bigger and the reverse ream would have more taper. Plus the chevy balljoints cost $35 at the autoparts store with a lifetime warranty. The Chevy balljoint is alot bigger than the factory dodge.

they still make both. you can use the stock ball joints up to 22s and for 24s they use the chevy ball joint.

Are either of the arm narrowed (or shorter) than the stock arms? If so how much do they bring the hub in? I'm hoping I don't have to cut the fender lip.
