I don't know if I'd say that. Ive had a lot of them and I've just learned a lot from trial and error and spent the money to fix the error

also you can run a edelbrock preformer intake #3761 with the factory tbi adaptor but if you run a airaid spacer you will run into a clearance problem

(trial & error)

pig rig, you got this crap down

will changing out the cam mess with the computer.

Here is what I wanna dooo....

edelbrock performer package, heads and cam, then put headers on, with an upgraded tbi

just worried about the computer, what about super charging these things...

Mines an 88 but I bought a 54mm throttle body, a 1/4" injector spacer, Headers, Dual 3" Exhaust with Thrush mufflers and I'm about to put a MSD on it. I'm just tryin to figure out if I wanna shell out the cash for a Dizzy, Coil and MSD 6al box right now just just get the 6al. Mine was a HOSS before I did all this so we will see how it runs. When I put the headers on I pulled the plugs they had freakin Ac Delco's in it and they were all shitty from my O2 Sensor being shot. I'm sure it's gonna be better. It should pull just fine especially with a gearvendor on it.

Comp sells a roller retrofit kit to convert it all to roller but it's a grand and I can't spring that till at least January. Good thing about it is it's Computer controlled compatible so it won't mess with the computer. I've been told that 40% of the friction in these motors is in the top end so it's supposed to unleash a good ammount of power.

Matt you think putting a Torker 2 intake on it would help with the low end? I'm in Arkansas so I can toss all the Emissions BS and get rid of the EGR and the Smog pump and yada yada.

yea the biggest thing is your vacum if you put to big of cam in your vacum suffers your computer basicly works off of vacum if your map sensor is reading wrong your computer will adjust to it and throw all your other sensors in a tailspin more so then the otherway around as far as using that edelbrock head and cam kit I'd save your money and put bigger valves in your heads I don't know how many miles are on your engine but they say if you have over 100g's on the clock if you rebuild your heads it will tear your bottom end up.
I went from a 2.070 to a 2.90 intake and a1.72 to a 1.880 on my exhaust witch is almost the same as the edelbrock heads. then my cam is an isky with 488 lift and 262 dration my next big adjustment is going to be the MSD 6AL and a big bore TBI with all the adjustable censors and matched injectors
I hope that helps a little

yeah, I talked to them at a trade show last year and they said they were going to come out with one, I guess they never did.

most of your emission stuff is tied in with the computer but I did pitch the smog pump and the air injector tubes that go in the exhaust manifolds

Great stuff thanks...

I wish I could spell better and I was a better typer because I would be more incline to do a simple over veiw of what each sensors do and kind of how they affect each other and it would also help if I could relate hand and face jesters
