I saw you mentioned headers, I got my headers from Hedman headers. My trucks a 93 but I think its the same. holley also makes performance throttle bodies and injectors for the tbi big blocks that are supposed to make alot more power.

I can verify that the 94 454 is not a gutless motor, i pull a 2 car wedge with mine no prob.

Btw a guy in an early 90s z71 pulled away from me like I was standing still.

they dont have them on their website for the 7.4 but Im almost possitive they make them you would have to call and ask though

I have a set of brandnew hooker headers for your truck
I'd look at cleaning your injectors
as far as simple upgrades that don't screw with the computer
one of them tbi spacers like the airaid poweraid or the motorvation one
or for more power and fuel economy step up to the MSD high out put coil and 6al spark multipler
if you end up tearing in to your engine don't get to carried away because thats when you screw up the computer
oh one other thing if your keeping your computer don't wast your money on heads yours flow good enough just go bigger valves

I just got off the phone with Holley & they have nothing at all as an upgrade for the TBI.
They recommended I call Turbo City 714-639-4933
& I did & spoke to gary & he said that they can rebuild your TBI Tricking it out & such.
But unless you have a exhaust ( I do. ) & a CamShaft & other things then its not really worth upgrading to their TBI, because you wont notice too much improvement.
Yet if any of you guys have a Bigger Camshaft & heads & such Give them a Call.
