i just buzzed throught the post but it sounds to me like you need to add a mustang 2 front susp. or a camaro subframe. i have a camaro subframe on my caddy & it alone lowered the car about 4 inches & with the bags it lays the front crossmember

I don't think I'll need a subframe, i think it's set up pretty nice from the factory, not a "performance" deal w/ the old fluid dampened shocks, but it looks like i'll be low enough w/ the 2 1/2" dropped uprights and bags. I'll know for sure soon enough though!

LONG way to go still, but got the back bagged this weekend... it may go a little lower yet, but i'm going to wait till I have rims picked to trim the cups any... I'm pretty sure a 20" will tuck a bit and that's good enough for me on this one...pre-bag

follow up for anybody w/ suicide door experience... I got a hinge kit, and they are too deep for the narrow jambs on this car, does anybody make a kit more geared toward old thin doors?

check out www.gambinocustoms.com they should be able to help if they dont have a kit. did you notch the rear? that car is way too cool to waste on some 20s, stockers & wide whites would look sweet! any plans to chop it ?

it's getting a 2" chop, maybe a little more, but not much...
and I'll probably have a set of both wheels, but as of right now the 20's are coming first. I originally was sticking w/ the www tires and some X bar caps, but I've seen another buick running billets and I fell in love.... so we'll see...

No on notching the rear... I know it's kinda stupid considering I plan to chop the roof, but I really don't want to cut into the frame at all. We'll see though how it sits w/ the final rim/tire combo on it and go from there though...

No on notching the rear... I know it's kinda stupid considering I plan to chop the roof, but I really don't want to cut into the frame at all. We'll see though how it sits w/ the final rim/tire combo on it and go from there though...

finally got it bagged... dropped uprights from fatman and I still got at least an inch more front and back to go before hitting the frame... still a turd, but gettin to be a low turd!
