check out Fat Man Fabrication, they should have the arms for that so you don't have to cut the hell out of everything

I looked at fatman... online there isn't much info... looks like they have the '40 chevy covered, but I'm still unsure if that will interchange w/ the buick or not...

Grip, you got pics of what you did on the one you worked on? or any other info?

Yes I do if you give me a minute.

This car sports the same pin type front end and close to the same frame. Also this car has the factory arms.

oops

damn that's low!

did you just cut into the frame for clearance then?

grip   +1y
No they didn't know how to temper metal back then and the frame will crack if you take out to much.It has a full stepnotch and sectioned control arms.

that must be a bit different than mine then, I don't think I could do a notch. the upper control arm pivots in a shock system that mounts directly above the coil spring pocket... i'll have to look at it again, but i don't think a notch will work on it without changing the upper control arms out...

notch in the back.

ohhhhhhh, so the front has sectioned arms and thats it then? no frame cutting up front?

the back didn't really stump me much, its the front that I wasn't sure what to do with...
