What all needs to be taken into account when building a frame table? Obviously it needs to be flat haha, but what specific things like body mount location and shit like that?

Its gotta be level, sturdy, and I would make it at least 6 inches wider all the way around.

Ya, I plan on it being rather large, but I almost want it to be able to be torn down, or atleast built in a few pieces so I can store it better.

Troy, that would be killer if you could throw up some pics and kind of explain it.

its 14 feet long 5'4" wide and about 2 feet tall it is braced every 2 feet and has adjustable feet to level it out its all out of 2x3

mine is the shop floor. Sure it's not perfectly flat, but not many places that you park your minitruck are flat either.

worked great to stockfloor the '86 on 22's and it laid out nicely.

troy, what are the vertical bars for? Im not sure I understand why they are up off of the table, and the rear axle above that? Am I just looking at it wrong?

that particular frame is being built for a rat rod which will not lay on the graound and is set up at ride height and the rear end is set up for the size of wheels being run

OH, gotcha haha. Kinda messed with my head there. so on a normal layed out frame it would be on the table flat, and just build to the wheel height. cool man, thanks for the pics.
