so hey man, when they have these rods so low to the ground, thats how they get there? setting the axle above the rails? and just clearance everything for the drivetrain?

Not always Grant. A lot of them just have a huge "Z" in the back. Its not a full notch because the frame generally doesnt drop back down.

be and my bro made ours 4ftx9ft outta 2x2 .187 wall with 2x6 c channel cross braces then but a 5x10 sheet of .375 on top of it and of course it has adjustable feets

same here, I can't have it around all the time, and don't have a "shop" to put it in. I guess a low profile one like that could get por 15'd and go under the back deck though.
