polished my fuel cell this week.

I have alot of time into this, its my favorite part of the truck hands down. Im really happy with how it turned out.

DAMN!!!!!!!!!! THat's clean...I like it. Is that a Harbor Freight bandsaw in the reflection? If so I have one of those and it breaks blades more than it cuts with them. I get maybe 10 cuts out of a blade on rect. tubing. Pisses me off. Urs work good. Cell looks awesome. Can I send mine to you and have you polish it. LOL

no, auctually, i bought that bandsaw at my local TSC store, its a clarke brand. Its nothing special, just work workin at home. But i had an issue with breaking blades all the time also, and in found out that the tension you put on the blade with the adjuster nut up top is what its all about, just keep it snug, but not too tight and they will last for a while. that and done buy the blades at harbor fright, those are junk and not welded good at all, go to your local metal suply shop and ask them ware they get theres, they will probably beable to weld you one in your size and it will work for a long time. Ive had this one for 6 months now.

My mom works at Vantage Trailers, which is a place that makes aluminum gravel buckets. They have a badas polishing machine up there. THe polisher told me to bring my cell up there and he would polish it for free. Take him mere seconds to polish the aluminum like yours. It's a machine on rollers and like 10 huge buffing wheels. I'm probably going to just brush mine but seeing your is making me think about it. Looks killer man.

i think i have about 20-30 hours into it. The next one i did would go faster, i learned a few triks.

Every thing looks awsome. But how can you put a body over it. it looks like a best of show winner as is, maybe mount a seat on it and roll it bodyless if not how about a glass bottom truck. looks great anyway.
