I do not think that you can re spline with only 1.5 inches per side.

You would have to shorten the axle enough to go past the existing spline. The cut the new groove for the C clip and new spline.

Sounds like the only option are new axles.

But I would call Moser first to confirm.

they want to have me send a regular axle and they gona make my new axles off of them with my new dimensions

I heard theres a 4x4 shop in columbia that respines axles..but I havent goitten a name from anyone..I just had a few guys say theres a shop that does good work...

You can not shorten the stock axles that much. They are not like the ford axles. The chevy ones get smaller as you move inward. I had mine shorten abt an inch per axle. That left enough spline to fit in the hub safely. It was also enough to clear the bed sides.

to late dude its been done , my axle shafts a have been built and the housing has been shortned al realdy, i had moser build me new shafts and a local machine shop do the housing for me, i had to go in at least an inch and a half cuz my truck is so low, didnt think it would have been that bad but i went 2 inches jus to have that extra room,
