figured id give an update on my axles, i sent them to moser last monday and they called me at 1:00 wednesday to confirm my order, i was suprised , i had jus checked the tracking and they had recieved them at 12:30 that day , any way that was fast , then they said friday morning they would be on the way back to me, i got them on monday, that was the fastest service ive ever gotten anywhere , thatnks for sendin me there guys , i will definatly reccommend anyone to go to them ,the shafts look great

the shafts cost me 285 shipped back to me, i had the axle done local by a freind

You can not shorten the stock axles that much. They are not like the ford axles. The chevy ones get smaller as you move inward. I had mine shorten abt an inch per axle. That left enough spline to fit in the hub safely. It was also enough to clear the bed sides.

how did you deal with the c-clips? i'd like mine in about 1/2" each side. i've checked into moser's locally and can get a great price 115/ea at cost but if theres a way to do it without cutting the axle tube?? didnt know it would be possible
