You said there is power at the coil but is there spark comin out of the coil? If there is spark coming from the coil but not going to the plugs there is probably something wrong the the disty. Check the points in it??

it doesnt have points guys, it has a module in there. i would honestly say it is the ignition module. it is the box under the coil on the factory bracket. now that i think about it seth did you put yours in? you have to have that even with a MSD box.

Yeah so it was a really simple fix. The starter wire was on the wrong terminal. I was told it was the ground, but I looked through the manual for it, and switched it to the positive side and it started up like a brand new truck.
Cam is broken in, and drove it around the block. It sounds badass. Its idles real low and lopes a little.
So I made it to the smog station as they were closing and they said to come back tomorrow and they will put todays date on the certificate. So I should be good. I can tell the bitch at the DMV that I did it last night and couldn't make it ot the DMV on time.

Congrats on getting it to run seth. I was going to ask if maybe the plugs were in the wrong order or the fuel pump but nevermind. Be sure to get some pictures of it driving. And whats up with the bed? Got one on it yet or whats your plans for it?

As long as it passes at the pipe I'm good. This guy is lenient on visual, so I should be good. Thing runs awesome. As long as the cam doesn't throw off the sniffer I should be good to go. I'll update tomorrow afternoon. I gotta put tail lights on it and hook up the speedo cable and then go down there.
