This is very similar to swapping aftermarket coilovers with replacement pillowball mounts on to strut cars... the top mount nuts will almost always loosen up after several miles, and need to be retorqued down 1-3 more times before they stay put (sorta like how wheel lug nuts "should" be retorqued on new wheels after several miles). Anyway, with that said, this is another reason I'm wary of easy street's stuff... a lot of it is sorta just tossed together to get it out on the market, and not a lot of extra thought/engineering goes into their products to actually make them as good as they could be. With the xB front struts, I know that just bolting them on would give people a major amount of positive camber, and easy street knew about it and did nothing to fix the problem for the longest time...all they cared about was that they were selling lots of them to uninformed folks who then had to get eccentric bolts and top camber plates to get their cars back within spec after installing the struts.btw, ramon, have you found out what's restricting your front from going down anymore? It might be something simple to take care of to get that extra bit of drop you're looking for...
wow man I install struts on a daily basis, at least one coil over setup a week and I have never had a top nut come loose.
As for getting the thing lower, the thing stopping you is the top of the strut housing hitting the upper bag plate, sometimes there is a small bumpstop (1/4") in there but thats it. You can get creative with barrings, lower strut mount, strut towers or just get factory struts and use the Universal Air strutbag. It works way better at letting the car get low because the strut body can go all the way through the bag and actually sit on the strut mount (or allow the strut to bottom out).
