Cool Flex hoses suck - at least my personal experience with them has. The Krew Kut had them and they kept blowing/coming off because they just use a regular clamp on them. I want to get a set of the clear hoses for the Krew Kut - figured green truck and green antifreeze = cool. Brent

It's called KillerGlass. That would look badass on it. And man, do your own thing. It's cool enough your leaving the paint job...but it's your truck now. Do what you feel it needs. Damn good job so far though!

Yeah, check my profile there's some OG pics of my old blown glass hoses

i say blown glass hoses. It would kick the engine bay up a notch. if they can do it get spirals in the glass that match the trucks colors.

This is a pic of what I was thinking:

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the original builder of this truck was trying to build something out of the norm which meant no chrome. Hence the reason you see so many painted and carbon fiber items. I think a chrome rad hose would totally go against this theme....Just my opinion tho.

OK, updates have been slow in coming trying to get the Ranger ready for paint. After careful consideration I have decided to repaint the radiator tubes and put fresh hoses on. I do agree that the idea was no chrome and I am trying to keep the truck as close to original as BK2LIFE and I can. Now if I could just get a HoK sponsor

On a seperate note I am glad to see Last Look made it into the current MT mag, thanks Ernie.

More updates as time permits.

I just read the entire thread for the first time.

I'm glad to see someone that cares alot about the history of one vehicle. I know the truck was an inspiration to alot of people, hopefully someone will do the same to Plane Jane someday if for some reason Shaun sells the truck.

Keep it up!

Last Look was an ispiration to me building my truck. I wish James the best luck in the fixing up of one of the coolest trucks in the history of our scene.

Yea this is one of those trucks thats inspired a lot of people to build minis. This was before my time but for me it was freemans yota. This truck did inspire me to do custom paint and will always be one of my favorite paintjobs. Frasier does some killer airbrushing.
