COULD USE A WATER JET TO, BUT NOT TO MANY OF US HAVE THEM. USE A LASER AT WORK TO HAVE ALL MY BRACKETS CUT

Hey i recognise those SIC rocker arms...

Lazer is the way to go, i started with a plasma and found myself limiting my designs to comply with the detail of the machine. Peoples biggest misconception is that lazer cutting is expensive when its actually more business savy to buy perfectly cut pieces than to spend alot of time making something that in the end still isnt as clean as a lazer cut piece.

i am about to get my canti arms cut using a waterjet cutter i will post close ups of the finished cut and they use a 10 thou of an inch tip which gives a cut very close to the finish of laser cutting.

.....plus the advantage to CNC based vs. by hand is that you get the same piece each time with no extra effort.

so about how much are your shops charging to do this? you said it cheap how cheap? just a rough estimate of four 1/4" plates laser cut that I could bolt on to the bar ends..

the benefits of laser/water cutting are HUGE and make so much more possible. Aside from repeatablity and clean looking parts for 'simple' pieces, how else can you do shit like this...

I'd like to see that done with a band saw and drill press. haha.

Our CNC plasmas that we sell come could do all of that maybe not the her name is frank one but I think a HiDef one would do it if it was thin

but there is some clean up that has to be done sometimes just knocking off some slag

Only cleaning ive ever had to do is on 3/8'' aluminum. Waterjets come in a close 2nd place IMO but due to the abrasive they run in the water the nozzles constantly need replacing.

Capcomfan if your asking about linkbar tabs or axle tabs they adverage $5ea but i sell a set of 8 for $30.
