Think about it for a second, a (in shape) car engine has almost no blowby at all I would almost say none in most cases, an EDC is just like an engine. I understand why ac comps do it but don't you guys think there is enough of a demand for a compressor with no oil loss? I would install EDCs in all my customers rides if they where low maintence, and I wouldn't see $750 or even $1000 bucks being unreasonable for an EDC that would work the way I need it to for my customers.
i could not justify paying a grand for something i can make myself for about 40 bucks. ill run a coalescing filter and put that 900 bucks towards something else
I will pay that extra 900 to keep a customer from coming back because he didn't listen to me about checking the filter that you choose to put in instead of spening an extra 900 bucks. I wans't saying I personally would spend that for me, but from a guy who has to fix it when they don't check up on things point of view.
kr1s: How much oil are you running in it? I have a "dipstick" that measures up about half an inch in the bottom of the comp and thats where I kept the one I had so much trouble with, what kind of oil are you running? I put a water/oil seperator in the trunk before the tank and the water never needs emptying but the oil needs it alot.
