Doesn't this contradict itself? Saying Fiberglass and Plastic doesn't mix, then saying to do it? From what Ive seen and know. (Dad owned a hotrod shop building Fiberglass bodies for over 30+ years) Fiberglass and metal don't mix. What i would do is get metal pillars (if they make them) and shave them shut just like you would a door handle.

Well the Pillars are plastic not Metal . Let me explain since you clearly cannot understand . Most people either fill the slots in the Plastic with Bondo or Fiberglass leading to cracking down the line . Now if this guy is dead set on just filling the Pillars slots then the Fiberglass with work because instead of just filling the Slots you cover the whole plastic pillar in a layer of Fiberglass and wrap around the Back edge which eliminates any cracking down the road . So no this doesnt contradict what i wrote

Get the pillar fillers from Grant Kustoms.

Why would he buy those Grant Pillars that shave the Plastic piece completely off the Truck ????. From what he is saying he wants to keep the Plastic pillars and just have the Lines removed from the Plastic ones. Plastic and Fiberglass dont mix . So if you just fiberglass the lines out it will eventually crack . I would personally fill the lines with Filler then fiberglass the Pillars completely wrapping over the Back edges . This will eliminate any cracking down the line

It was a simple suggestion. No need to get twisted.

The Post came off all wrong was really just trying to tell you that he wants to keep the line in between the plastic and cab and not eliminate it like Grant Kustoms ones do .
