i built new uppper and lower equal length arms for mine and sectioned the oil pan and moved the steering rack up. my truck rides with no camber and lays with no camber. it took many hours of designing and 3 tries to get the arms right. the factory spring pocket on the frame sits at a slight rake inward towards the motor, i cut mine off the frame and moved it to straight vertical directly facing down toward the lower arm. now that my truck is dropped, the springs are sitting straight up and down rather than tilted back like the factory designed.
the overall moral of the story, i re-built the front suspension 3 times to make my truck lay out with no camber and ride up and down in its movement with no camber, moving the factory steering rack up helped fix the steerings geometry. i dont suggest anyone else trying all that because now that max has those arms, everything i did was in vane.. wait.. except that, i shortened my arms up front 2 inches so that i could fit a 19x9.5 wide wheel up front.

so you are laying on a 19"? and how much did you raise the rack?

See, before I bought 20s and rebuilt my front setup for the 3rd time...I layed out on a 19 also. I flipped the balljoints and ran a AIM upper conrol arm. I had no problems with the steering! the only difference was that the ball joints I was running were wore slam out...

There are hundreds of Tacomas out there that are bagged not using my spindles. So it can certainly be done. I built my spindles to take all of the guess work out of it. Bold my spindles on with my modified lower ball-joints, bag it and your good. I don't have any clue what else to suggest for you to try. I can tell you tho that simply puting spacers under your spindles is not the same as my dropped spindles.

hey max when I was at your shop I didn't see any monkeys!!! there was only lowlife mike there I know he acts like a monkey!!!

wow thats a new one. I thought that was just lowered truck standard to drive like that so you can still turn?

With equal length a-arms your tire contact patch is not staying flat when turning hard. This is why negative camber is designed in. On another note most vehicles need negative camber to clear the fenders layed out. The inner rack pivot needs to intersect the upper and lower inner pivots to not have bumpsteer, along with something else I cant remember right now. Maybe the steering arm and the lower arm being the same length......Maybe max will chime in! Thanks.

heres one easy fix that sometimes works. align the truck at mid travel. you should keep your steer ahead though most of the travel. your going to get a degree of toe in at full lift and fully aired out but not much to cause sever tire wear
