yea, i seen the pits too, they are in little corners and crevess'. your right the clear is really thick, i dont know why, tis clear gave me such a hard time. it didnt wanna lay flat when mixed according to the diagram as to how it was supposed to be mixed so i just mixed it differntly each coat reducing it more each time and that helped with spraying but yea it does look thick. but in person its really not at all.
this is so weird of a problem for me, i have been painting for quite some time now and have never had this happen before.

wet sand it a good amount but dont hit color

and buff it and it should get it nice and glassy

In my opinion its solvents trapped in the clear. Dried before it had a chance to escape. Spraying more clear on the panel wont solve the problem. Youll have to rebase the panel then spray the clear again.

looks to me like the stuff layed out super peely, and you just havent buffed it back enough..i HIGHLY recommend mguires new one compound setup..its one compound all the way thru start to finish just different pads for course and fine...dosent look like solvent pop..and if there IS trapped solvent...kevin is right and wrong..more clear will make it worse..but putting more base down THEN clear is not the answer either..you would be just adding MORE solvent then just doing another coat of clear alone...so yeah to me it looks as though its just not buffed back properly or you may have gotten some spots died back that just need more buffing....but as rough as it looks...sanding it flat with 600 and another flow coat of clear would do wonders

600... then hit it with a 3m superfine sponge pad and wash it and let it dry overnight and then spray your clear

Either way I would like to see how it comes out and what method worked.

I forgot to add that like Jason said below me. You usually wet sand until the problem is gone, then go from there. From my experience's I end up burning through before its gone.

i dont see any need to reclear just yet... just looks like still alot of orange peel and its definatly not buffed out enough. what are you buffing with and what grit paper did you wetsand with?? got to have a good high speed buffer and good buffing compound.. I paint cars everyday for a living and from the pics i seen i dont think you should just start reclearing yet! but thats just my professional opinion!!

looks like you are going to have to respray the car, or just the panels that have the problem. you might of used to fast of activator, and that is why the little white spots are showing up, this is called solvent pop, it happpened to me before using to fast of activator in the clear. the more you buff it the more you are going to see the white spots because the compound is getting stuck in the little holes.

First off do it everyday for a livin man you don't have to reclear it that would be dumb take some wet thousand sand till smooth hand wash it with some 1500 grit clean the panel and then buff all your seein is sand marks were you didn't buff out all the way...
