Yes they make some tuff stuff I put my LCAs through hell and back I wish I had some pictures. But I basically drug the truck without the Z pretty much flat and into some of the arms and main crossmember, when I took them off they were bent about 1/2" inward it was pretty crazy I'll have to go take some pics now. So yea I know they make some tuff Sh**.

Sorry to hear about your problem, but I think the community would like to verify via pics that this isn't another bs "this shop sucks" thread like in the past.

pics would hammer your arguement home. without them everyone will doubt you man. ekstensive has had to good of a reputation for years for one story to persuade anybody otherwise. get pics up asap.

I never said anything about them "screwing me over". And yea, I could be wrong about the thickness of the steel because I havent measured it. It's still on the truck kind of. Hell I never even tried to bash them because that's not what im here to do. I just wanted to know if any of the other guys who are running the ekstensive lowers have had any problems. That's it. This isnt a bash ekstensive thread so dont anyone turn it into one please. Didnt they make a control arm for use with chevy ball joints and then remade them to use the dodge ball joints. I think warranty killer had a set that used the chevy ball joints and they were red. Mine use factory dodge ones and maybe mine were just some of the first run at them because the one I got a month or two ago feels different than the one that broke.

I'm not trying to persuade anyone to think poorly of them, some of you people just look for the negative in things. I just want to be driving again and you can only imagine how frustrating it is for this not to happen just once, but twice. And now i've got to get the fender re-aligned because I cant open my pass. door right now since it pushed it up into the door. Pics will be up in a sec.

The tube wall is 1/8" thick. It was hard to get a steady picture of it while laying on the ground and holding up the tape measure but you can still see. You have to copy and paste the links into your browser to see them because I dont know how to use img symbols to show them. Thanks.

Thats a really odd place for the arm to break, and so cleanly.

You're telling me. And it's happened twice, in the same place, once on the driver side and now on this side. When I take the arm off I'll take a pic of the where it twisted on the back part of the arm. Stretched and tweaked it when it snapped. That exact area has to be a weak spot or something and just gives out after being driven on for 6 months or so.
