That sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I have Firestone 2600's on my Fullsize right now and I can't complain. I know the Slam's don't compress as much as the Firestones but you also get more lift out of them. I am going with the slams when I redo my setup this winter though because from what I have been able to tell they do ride a little better and I drive my truck to most shows so that is my only reasoning behind it.

I got slam HE's in front, and my old ass hell (like 10 years) Stones out back. I am replacing the Stones with Slams soon. Need more lift in back, and the stones ain't doing it.

wonder if the slams just dont compress as far because of the weight required to compress them. if your look at slams site they have a table comparing their bags to firestones. and there bags

its under the compare section

On my buddy's s-10 you couldn't tell how much drop lost because his is bodydropped and still lays out. I have heard it is a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch but he got a little over an inch more of lift out of them which is the main reason he was going with them to begin with.

they compress to 3" when broken in. so it depends on what type of bag you are running to how much, if any, drop you will lose. I ran firestones, airlifts, generics, and slams. I'll never change back from slams. Firestone would be the only other company I would ever install on my rides, but slams are choice #1. They generally overall are more heavy duty IMO. and when that's the only thing holding my truck up off the ground, I want something that I feel comfortable with under there.

Go with the slams. The ride quality is way better than the firestones.
