juat wanna put my 2 cents i have a 2002 dakota and there is no way around anything at all .... really with any truck it suck i know and have known for 3 years do it right and well maintained and you'll be fine , i have mine bagged , frame z'd and on 18"s and all i had to do is flair the fenders a lil not to much im going to get the rear end narrowed and body drop it to tuck 20"s
you dont need 22"s or 24"s to have a mini truck .... promis , just take it easy and dont just do it the easy way to get out cheap save your pennys i did for along time to get where im at today which isnt that far now if you make 200gs a year go all out and have someone do it for you ...lol
but like i said dont do it the cheap way you run into fixing broken stuff and braking stuff you shouldnt of in the first place

if you need some help or have a question hit me up

later Mike

I'm not telling him to do it the cheap way if your referring to it that way im suggesting if he wants to convert to a 5 lug with a narrower rear end people do it all the time rangers toyo front...nissans..toyo sus. also.

yeah, i know to save up, do it right the first time. i'm not looking for cheap ways, i am looking for more cost effective ways though. seeing how i only got so much money to work with, and so little down time available to have the truck apart. my comment about getting around narrowing the axle is that if i only needed an inch or so since i'm going to run a narrower rim than most guys was just to try to find something else. but i've learned enough from some of my buddies trying to skip steps, if it has to be done, it has to be done.
