Take a pic of the rocker and post it up im sure there are other ways to do this... I just like the angle iron method cuz it makes it simple to build a new floor...

So post it up, maby what worked for DooredFord will work for you too.

c-10 rockers are like 3-4 inch thick stock fl the truck and you can lay door with out losing head room because the floors are so high sht my buddy is stock flooring his 82 for and his rocker is like 1/2 inch thick so he will lay door easy

Do it man, hell yeah

And it's easy to hook your valves or windows up to an alarm system with extra channels, i know a bunch of guys that have done it, including myself. So even with your doors on the ground you could roll your windows down and hit the switch(pain in the ass IMO), or just use your remote to air it up and down, simple.

You could even have a momentary back-up switch hidden so if your remote dies or whatever you can still "get it up"

But yeah i wouldn't drag your doors, that ruins shit REAL fast

Definitely do some plating

I have yet to drive my doored truck either but i'm going to have my bags on my remote. Get out of the truck and air it out, when you want to get back in the truck air it up. My alarm has 5 extra outputs, all it takes is a couple relays and you can set the bags up on your remote however you want. I've also thought about some "training wheels" for everyday driving. Make some blocks to bolt to the frame to layout on everyday, and then lay doors at shows and cruise night. It's a thought.

Also, my rockers are plated with 3/8 flat stock. So I don't have to worry about dragging through that for a while.

I had no windows, and I got out with the truck aired up & then laid it out with either a long switch or switch mounted at the top left or my dash so I just reached in & dropped it. Once it was down, I either left the door closed or opened & then let the air out. Because it wasn't going any where when laid out

well this i can speak on , i drive mine everday , its doored and i have drug about an inch off my doors so far , i love it , its a pain in the ass sometimes but the looks you get are well worth it, i usually let mine down aftfter the passenger gets out , im a big guy so my side dargs alil harder , i think my door is shortere than the passenger door, lol, i put half inch plate under the cab when i built it but its gone now and i still drag it, its all in what you want , i love it , good luck with your choice

Ive thought about the remote idea before, when I was in hs and still had my truck together I had my valves set up to an autoloc 12 function remote, any thing i could do on a switchbox i could do by remote... it was sweet but a huge p.i.t.a. to wire up! lol
