I had a 1993 hardbody bagged that I had paid someone to do for me. I had already had the truck for a year when I decided to drive it to slammin and jammin and all of a sudden the truck just completly died, my horn was honking out of control, and smoke was coming from the hood. I pulled it in to a gas station and popped the hood and my wiring harness was on fire. So I disconnected the battery and put out the fire. Over the period of a year, every time my truck laid out, it pinched the wires between the tire and the cut inner fender. I guess the right two wires crossed and melted every wire together. That was about a $200 tow bill and alot of hassle.

I had the rear of my first bagged truck, a 2000 S10, done by someone a friend recommended because I had no welding skills. Long story short, it was bagged over the axle, bag mounts weren't straight, caused the rear drivers side bag to blow, gas tank wasn't moved or raised, before I had a chance to even realize what was happening I saw flames shooting out from under the bed. I got pulled over and watched it burn.
