I can prolly help you out with the wiring part. If you need me to i can draw you a basic wiring diagram that you can understand just let me know how many valves you are gonna run and how many switches you want. I mean for instance at minimum you need like 2 fills and 2 dumps and with switches you can run as little as one.

so 1/4 line wont work with electric valves??? if i change to 3/8 how many feet you think ill need to run a front ack system in a short bed single cab mazda b2200 ??

probably a dumb question but if i change the 1/4 inch line all to 3/8 wil i have to change the valves too ??

and im only going to run front and back... guy above said i only need 4 valves im ordering 4 valves from sd.com if i cant find them locally for same price..

but how much feet you think i will need of 3/8 to convert all my 1/4

Basically line size has nothing to do with the valves, its all in the fittings. Personally if you are ordering the valves you might as well order the lines th sd also. You could keep the 1/4 line if you want to, you just have to get the right fitting to fit it. there is a couple of different ways to run the lines so that depends on how much you will need.

But a good place to start is 50ft, just remember you are gonna have to buy all new fittings when you change your lines

ok... can the fitting be bought at like home depot or lowes or somthing... because im sure i can get the lines at my work... so all i will need from sd is the valves

you can use compression fittings
oh4sho   +1y
Yah you can but compression fittings are normally about the same price as ptc fittings. Compression fittings work best on a hard line such as copper where as ptc is great for for your normal dot air line. Trust me I have used both and have even tried hose clamps. Another thing is the compression fittings are hard work all leaks out where with ptc as long as you push them in hard enough (learned the hard way) the will never give you problems. PTC are also reusable and where compression you have to replace the sleve whenever you replace the line.

basically tho its your truck put on it what you want and what you can afford. Im just trying to pass on some of my knowledge.

oh yeah...you cant buy ptc fittings at a hardware store or somthing... well if i order shit from sd.com it wont be here for few days because its comming ground and i live in washington and tehy are located in indianna... so i guess i got time to figure things out a little bit...ill try and get pictures of my setup right now and post them on here tomarrow.

posting pics on here is it the same as most forums were u just get a photobucket or imageshack imgcode and post in in this box ???
