BY THE NAME OF JAMES JENKINS DONT. MY TRUCK WENT 4 MONTHS OF NOT GETTING TOUCHED. ssbkold24 HAS DEALT WITH THE SAME GUY AND I SAW HIS TRUCK ITS BEEN SITTING THE SAME WAY SINCE DUDE BROUGHT IT. MY TRUCK WAS LEFT IN THE MIDDLE OF A T-STORM WITH THE WINDOW DOWN!!!! BUT ONE GOOD THING IS I GOT A RECEIPT OF $1000. HOPEFULLY I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK. I recently was taken for almost 5k for a paint job. I dropped my truck off at a friends shop, he painted the cab, took the bed off, Prepped the bed, went out of business, dropped my truck off minus the bed and basicaly never heard from the guy again...it took 3 years to do all this...I ended getting sick to my stomach thinking about it and sold the Tacoma...My next build will be either done by me and some friends in MY Garage...or I will take it to a reputable shop. Just remember getting a deal is not the best answer. If you dont have the money just save a little more and get it done right the first time at the right shop. It will save you countless dollars, Time, and Agrivation in the end. I think any younger people in the scene we need to stress this to them....Just my experience in the Mini Truckin World

Sorry to hear about the bad luck man, but after it happening once, I don't really have much sympathy. I may sound like an a$$, but I would NEVER continue to write checks to a place that is doing little to no work, as they were supposed to.

RULE #1 when I was building our house - You don't get a check until I'm happy.

I know Al. It's another situation where he happens to be a great guy and a blast to hang out with but probably shouldn't be getting paid to build or install suspension. I've fixed a couple of trucks that came from there. The first one didn't even make it from his shop to mine. Anyway, some how his shop mysteriously burnt to the ground. Now he's out of the biz I guess. I haven't seen him in a few years.

u know what, the sad part is that i actually agree with this. ray is a nice guy and always seemed to be willing to help out when anyone including myself had a minor issue with their truck. real cool and easy to talk to.

but that dont excuse stealing someones money and doing shitty work. along with ignoring phone calls and making promises he couldnt keep.

some of you fellas that have gotten screwed dont know the true meaning of getting screwed. i lost my entire car to a shop owned by Korey Fields from somewhere in Georgia. Me and a buddy took our rides there. Mine was my old Alero and Tim took his wagon. Korey took our money and our rides plus parts we gave him and dood disappeared and so did our rides. Still to this day we have no idea where our rides are or where Korey is.
