just use those bolts with a lock washer

what exactly do lock washers do?

i think they expand and kinda put pressure on the bolt so it doesnt back off. i dont know

It's a thick washer with a cut in it. The washer is bent a little. Whenever you tighten the nut down the washer becomes flat, but the original bend keep pressure on the nut at all time locking it in. Therefore, it's a lock washer.

If you can, you should ALWAYS use nyloc nuts. There isn't one place on a mini that needs a grade 8 nut (except on the torsion adjusters and you shouldn't have those any more) so a grade 5 nut will be fine. You should definately use grade 8 bolts though.

I am with BioMax you only need Grade 5 and some nylon insert lock nuts. Grade 8's are used for more Commercial and large machinery applications
