What did you find out today?

i didnt have a chance to work on it today, tomorrow i'm gonna take the bed off and start working on it and the grinding the rust off the frame. so i figured i'd just put a fuel cell in there since my buddy has one and said he'd sell it to me cheap, figured i'd take advantage.

well, i went back and worked on it alst night, and i tried pumping the pump manually, but it didnt work, so its gotta be a line or the pick-up clogged...at least i hope its that simple

can u smell gas in the carb? that should let you know the pump is working...are you getting any spark? could be timing...

yeah, i'm getting spark, we were dropping small amounts of gas into the carb and she'd sputter. there is no gas coming from the pump but there isnt any coming to the pump either, i'm going to check the lines and put in a fuel cell before i go get another pump.

thats what i would do, or snag new lines from the parts store, and a new gas tank from another truck. even if its just a gas can to test it and get it where you know the lines aren't clogged and the fuel pump is working and crap.
