one giant leap backwards!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Decided 100% on the new front frame section.. gutted everything back off frame, waiting on my steel to come in for the new frame table im building. then NBS arm from choppin block are on the way, McGauhys Spindles, new hubs and Viola! full tube chassi will be started.

we are also looking to build a new house instead of buying so i gotta get cracking on this thing, once we break ground, this things goin on hold for a long time... once done i will have a 3-4 car garage though!

update #2

got frame table built, that was a lotta steel! table is 20'x 44" wide. used 2x4 .120 wall box for most of it. made the feet outa 6" sections of all thread and welded nuts to them on the bottoms. cant get all thread bolts in 3/4-10 thread. really happy with it and now i can get onto the new front frame setup. steel shop wasnt watchin the band saw and cut all the bars outta square, so i got the pleasure of slowly, carefully, patiently cutting a square 1/4" off each tube with the chop saw in the shop, that was a long fun morning! left with a ton of 1/8" wide boxes

It's awesome having a perfectly FLAT, EVEN, LEVEL work area to re-focus off of now!

thanks to nick, GMracer from gmfs for ideas on table and mockup.

ONE Man show to lift cab now!!!

setting up front end with NBS hubs, rotors, stock spindles, waiting on some McGaughys 2" drop ones. mocked up old gear to get track width. goin custom NBS arms from Vince at Choppin Block. more info on suspension setup next update..

goin to NBS rack also..

Vacation was unbelievable. I actually just let everything ride and forgot bout the truck right when we left the house on our ride to the airport and didnt think about it again! The place we went to was awesome, mexican people down there are sooo damn nice and appreciative and damn hard working. we tipped everyone like crazy and had the best time of our lives..

Also pulled the ultimate aprils fools day joke on heather.. I Proposed to her and she said YES! We arrived in mexico on the 1st and my plan was to do it down there on the 1st and all went good. i had a ring built and it was ready as promised for the trip.

anyways we got back and had some bad news with H's friend back home and have been busy with that. Also got my new puter built and new flat screen monitor. what a nice difference over the old 20" tube.

as for updates im about to go over to the shop to kick around some dust and play with my new bags. i ordered 4 HE-7s from AVS. I've been frustrated with things but Kris has been doin her best to take care of me.

since i have everything clearanced cept the huge frame notch for the truck LSx a/c unit, I have a lot of bracking/supporting to do. I'm contimplating choppin off the stock front stub and goin to a full custom frame front to back.

things i'll have to fill/brace/support if i dont build new.

-huge notch for a/c unit in lower pass side, -coil pockets trimed to the max,-tie rod notches trimmed out,-frame clearanced for LCA's,-front horns relocated and gussets needed,-delete power steering box and idler arm,-setup for custom rack n pinion.

we'll see what happens

cpl pics from the trip.

well now im thinking about my ride height.. i'm trying to decide where to set up my front according to ride height. with 22's and a bodydrop do i want to be driving low and deal with airing up around corners and set for low highway driving or set it up just tucking tire up front for normal daily driving?

my one thought is setting up lower so that hwy driving is best for not chewing tires up. in-town would suck though..

was guessing setting up with about 5-6" clearance under the frame as a ride height..
