sorry guys. things have been nuts but getting back on target with the truck..
My way of venting/escapeing from my busy life is to try to unwind and play with the truck... soooo tonight i finally went over to check up on her and unload some ideas for the front suspension.
i got most everything in place and mocked up. i need to do my homework on suspension setup, fundamentals, and ideals for what im building. my track width is just about perfect but i have to go back and narrow it a lil (3/4" each side) now.. with rims/tires bolted up its a lil tight.. will further narrow the NBS rack. already narrowed it 1" each side and tie-rod ends are maxed but will jsut cut more off and tap/thread more onto the shaft..
im starting to visualize my frame rails now so for me this is REALLLY exciting!
been playing with suspension/front frame layout when i've gotten and hour here and there. I started out with my 2"x4" styrophome board i ripped down and cut a couple 20" sections to start figuring out where to get the main mount rails on the side of the motor layd out. from there started a ton of math, measuring, and drawing on fridge cardboard and boom. Mocked up the front suspension to figure out ideal arm angles and get the camber i want and keep the steering rack happy. narrowing the lower arms a hair and got my arms angles and pivot points. Got a top and side view of the new frame to decide the miters and bevels. Started cutting up foam with our 12" rigid dual bevel miter saw. cuts are awesome and but up perfect and will work great cutting the steel with the Rage Evolution 3 saw when im ready so i will know all the intricate angles. http://www.evolutiononlineshop.com/s...20Miter%20Saw/

Chris has moved out so i have a friend moving into the other side but b4 hand we are re-doing the ceiling. above my side was sheetrocked but was falling down, the other side was jsut plastic and roll R-11 insulation. I pulled everything down and am re-doing the electrical, adding some light switches so we dont have to use breakers to turn everything on anymore and walk across a dark shop to get to them, then new plastic and sheetrockin and blowing in insulation later. we're hopeing to have it all done this weekend. trucks on back burner for a cpl more weeks till i get more time. i did get my steel for the front horns though.

today got motor mount plates and trans mount done and got some tubing to start front x-members and designing suspension mounts...
news... selling some things, not shipping unless you pay a mint as large items have deemed very difficult to deal with.Will post in classifieds.
Goin with a 6.0 iron block and maybe a hairdrier or two????? LOL Ed Casar (my tuner) from Donerite Tuning in Wausau have been scheeming a new plan.. I've already swapped to a 4l80e and the rest of the drive train is pretty much ready to go.

'98 LS1, 4l60e combo with ~70K on it as i was told. trans is getting inspected and motor turns over at crank and oil is clean. bought is from a reputable local Wi ebayer. no accessories but everthing in latest pics minus a/c stuff. $2500
Also looking to sell off my denali clip as a whole. will be fabbing up a custom '03up escy front end. OE parts; hood, fenders (inner wells slightly cut out), headlights, grill shell (easy fix crack), Bumper cover, billet insert. $1000
