well, just a quick thing but got the wheels mounted up and started looking a lil closer at the nose job in store... man, do i really that want challenge...!!!

and yeah. Alt is a lil high.. adjusting the trans mount a lil higher will level out the drivetrain from moving the motor mounts up but i need to do some more test fitting this weekend to make some decisions

ok pic for those asking...

anyways, if you look closely you see my new obstacle, see the alternator? yeah its a lil high!!! Not sure if i'm goin to have to switch accessory brackets or what yet. Motor is right where it has to be. This may decide what front end i am goin to be goin with. I do have all the parts for the '05 escalade clip with oem HID's and there is going to be a ton of fender fab work.. Time will show me here soon what direction i'll be taking or just goin back to the '00 denali front clip.

Main thing is researching options for the accessory engine brackets..

well the amount of work that you have managed on this thing, i think that no matter what front end you run with-- you can handle it.  I have faith!!

with ALL the work you got into it mind as well go all out with the '05 escalade and the HID's, that will give a very modern touch of class. Boy the more I look at it I say "that is one LONG truck". Keep up the good work!!

Thought about running one of these? (Don't know if you have the room) It mounts it on the lower drivers side of the block. I vaguely remember one in a hot rod magazine that hung the alternator on one side and a A/C compressor on the other and it was full billet. I'll look back in some old mags and see.

yeah, think i'll be goin the route of kwik perf brackets..   http://www.kwikperf.com/products.html   lots happend in the last few days... down to bare frame to fully weld up the front half, flip and then weld up the bottom side.. Got the Fish plates on the front stub and front body mounts located too.        frame flipped, welded, and body mounts all re-done.. sum welds Me, doin my thing      now, a lot of grinding/smothing welds and then flip back over and reassemeble driveline and suspension..
