Opinions on 'club merchandise'

Jennie and John are both highly upstanding members of the Mini Truckin' Community and wouldn't screw over clubs or individuals. I'm proud to say that I know them and we're friends... (and lovers)

most of the time if you just find the "BIG WIG" of the club they could hook you up with all the state contacts, thats how we roll, every state has one contact or rep for that state.

I'd say the exact same thing about Joel. I've been friends with the guy for a number of years now, and the last thing he is out to do is to screw people over.

I don't know why Jennie thinks I am saying what they are doing is wrong...all i said was the pic in the new MT made me think about it. As it seems its a good comparison.

And I'm definitley not sitting here at home thinking 'how can I make some money off of clubs'. If that was my main priority, #1 I probably wouldn't be asking for opinions on the matter and #2 I wouldn't be thinking of doing up the designs on my own time and waiving design fees on the ones that I have drawn up. On the other hand, if I can list the artwork that I do have on file on my website, it does increase the likely hood of selling a product. And I dont think you can hold it against a business for wanting to sell a product...so maybe what I will do is list the ones that I have been contacted to design by club members, and before I do any extras on my own time, I'll contact those clubs and OK it first.

So yeah don't try to make me like some criminal here, as that was definitely not my intention with Get Stroked. One guy voiced his opinion that he was not happy with a logo that he designed being used by Get Stroked, but from what Jennie is saying, they must have had permission from someone in his club to do so..in which case I guess there is an internal issue to deal with in that particular club regarding the use of logos.

Anyways all I was saying was the Get Stroked pic in MT made me think about this a little more it and I was wondering other peoples thoughts on the matter.

I say GO FOR IT with your idea, I think it will also be well received in the community. Not everyone has the means to do what you can for them (much like us). We think it is a great idea you have for sure. But of course, go through the right channels! Good luck to you in your endeavor and if we can help ya at all...never hesitate to contact us!
