Street Customs on TLC

When exactly did they film the first episode? I saw a few WCC guys wearing a shirt in the shop that had Sept. 2007 writing on the back of them but I know that the Mustang was built in 2005 because it was at Sema that year.

I know they said they were making 25 of those cars and maybe that was the 2nd one they have built? I think the dash plaque had #2 on it? If it was I would have thought Shelby would have seen the first one at Sema in 2005?

Cool...I thought that was him!! I remember that issue of Mini-Truckin where MIC did a body drop, back half & juiced a late model Toyota truck & it shows Sean in the pics. He
seems like a really cool guy & does some bad ass work!!

So other then the usual about people who do better work then most of us did anybody like it? Was it the Shelby mustang they did or something else? Is it just on regular cable tv on tuesday nights? I can't find it anywhere on my listings.

Any shop with a number of employees will have drama. Especially in this scene because of differing opinions and everyone wanting to prove things. It will be interesting to see if they can 'blow up' with real business. This version of WCC looks like its got a good $ machine behind it. Since everyone is suing Unique Performance in TX I'm sure shelby would love to have another outlet to sell his custom mustangs.

The Sean truck everyone is referring to is Mike Selfs and last I heard it was trying to get rebuilt in vegas by a new owner after 3rd world customs stole a bunch of parts off of it instead of painting it. It was in articles in 96+ whenever he was assistant editor. Chop shop did the first tech article on a bd in MT and that was in 93.

HAHAHA!!!I found it out the grave. So I've been watching this season and I have actually added it to my DVR. Ryan is doing his damn thing. Well tonight they are laying out a fullsize chevy and chopping it for Jesse James and Ryan actually wants to work on this build. Just like the good old days huh. So is anybody else watching it?

yeah, I'm watching it.  A couple weeks ago they had a sema episode and a guy was cutting out flames for a headliner and ryan the owner said, someone tell this guy mini-trucks are out, its not 1985 anymore.

Yea I seen that episode and heard that comment. Hell Jesse James told Ryan not to minitruck style this truck BUT lay it out.

its ok i guess. ive watched just about every episode. to me it does look to be "scripted" as bad as most shows like this. whats the deal with all the minitruckin hate on here? ive heard it twice now. at the start of the show jesse said he didnt want any of that minitrucker shit.......
