Yea i'd hafta say Jesse is a closet mini trucker, hell he had 4 guys from NC cali working for him at one time - but I think he likes his vws evey more

I digged the overall look of the truck, being a painter, I would have chosen a differnt route to get the same similar colour, rather than black base, and red candy, I would have tried for more of a rootbeer candy, to make more metallic pop out. But thats just my style, and its tough to see a true look on TV. I only watched the show because I wanted to see the truck. I probably wont watch any other episodes, I'll go out in the garage and work on my bucket.   -Brad

--------------------------------------------- Originally posted by BOOOGHAR --------------------------------------------- Originally posted by LowJeep yeah, I'm watching it.  A couple weeks ago they had a sema episode and a guy was cutting out flames for a headliner and ryan the owner said, someone tell this guy mini-trucks are out, its not 1985 anymore. ---------------------------------------------that was Todd Jubert from the Interior Shop in Phoenix AZ cutting the flames for that headliner --------------------------------------------- I thought that style of flames looked familar! He did a good job on it and Ish acted like he wasn't impressed Jessie's truck was ok but it did get rushed (what's new) and I agree about them using a font that was "close" enough to work... Why try to match it when you have the means to get it right???

I wish they would have done something with the wipers...   Only picture I could find.

There were a few details I thought could have been worked differently, but overall I think it came out badass. Would love to see it in person.

The interior was the only ok thing on it. They should of left the top alone and spent the time to make it lay out. Plus then the bed might not look like crap. The color is horrible. No one could scan his logo? It probably to more time to look through the fonts.

I caught the end of it right now.... didnt get to see the build but maybe thats a good thing... I caught the very end were they revealed it, looked baddas to me but they didnt do full shoots either. Truck looked sik goin down the road until he stomped on it and it blew a bunch of smoke out.

i  say that too, i dont think they had the motor tuned in just right. But the truck was sick, chop top and a big back wheel.
