who gives a shit if you love or hate it! his heart and time went into it. its his mini and no one elses! are we forgetting something that was once said about our sport? most of you are too young to know what minitruckin is all about anyway. here is the quote for the old farts like me and the yungins that need to realize what ths sport is all about!!!!!!! here is the quote:

"We have become part of something much more complicated than you or I will ever fully comprehend. We build more than just trucks. . . we build friendships, we build futures, we build our dreams. We drive our trucks low and hold our heads high because we have an unwritten and unspoken agreement that we will live life to the fullest and never fall victim to 'the norm'. Others laugh at us when we spend hours on end working on our trucks, yet shake our hands when we are done." ~Wyatt Strange MiniTruckin mag 1998

Lucky it's a use less fight on here. No one reads anything on here just wants to talk smak. I hope someone has the balls to build something original sometime soon to inspire builders in 2008

the only reason the ones that are the haiters is cause its not like all the other show trucks ...it does not have a single or 2 tone paint...and has no billet or chrome...or could be just cause they will never have a truck no where near as nice...i thought it was to each his own not build it for the haiters to like...shit what other minis have a theam about something like a bommer ...the only one that comes to mind that comes close is the timemaschine

well, im building a static dropped toyota on coilovers front and rear. going to z the front clip, link the rear and build new crossmembers. why? cause im tired of hearing body-drops, bags, trailer balls, etc. what happened to the days of praying you didnt get stuck on that speedbump? one low ass 1983 toyota static dropped! cant argue how low it is when thats the only option! plus its only going to roll 17" rims! and plenty of factory chrome!

Quit being little girlsNope there aint nothing on my profile. Some of you know me, most of you know the trucks I have built.I am from the old school. I built my first mini in 93 when most of you were still pissing in your panties.Get over yourselves.stop calling everyone a hater when they dont like what you have.I love auto sports of all kinds. My son is being raised around cars, not minis or hotrods or lowriders or rice rockets, or anything else, just custom fuxking automobiles.I hope he gets half the joy out of it as I did.His grandpa (my dad) dragged a 68 goat (if you have to ask get out of the sport) in 1969. He met his grandma (my mom) that way.

Stop Quoting Wyatt Earp or Strange or whoever.

DO YOU!!! Thats what it has been about since day one!

I dont think most of you guys get it. Who the fuck cares who built your built your 5 lug conversion. Tell ya what I build cars that make covers, layinrockers builds every hub and plainjane comes up with all my ideas lucky brew puts them together. makes me cool.

Why do the guys in Cali care what someone in Indiana says? Why do you care whether someone likes what you built?why do you care what someone says they helped with whether they did it or not? Is someone really gonna say, "damn I was about to take my truck to plain jane but someone else did his 5 lug conversion"(whether they did or not)? You wonder why other members of this sport dont respect you, not mini-truckin but auto sports altogether, this is why!!!!

Trust me I have been on both sides of the fence!!!!!

PlaneJane is a theme truck I have shown it to people in the hotrod & chopper world who would otherwise laugh at minitruckin and they have said man thats cool!and it isbut its a OCC "style" theme truck and there is nothing wrong with that, it is COOL AS HELL!!

Get it together guys, if this is your passion then show us what you got and dont worry about what other people say!

I remember when Loco64 starting touring the hotrod circuit, it was the best intergration ever.50 y/o with hotrod guys said "damn these guys got it going on" and a whole new world opened. You are not a lifestyle, you are a hobby! You are not a family you are friends with common interests. As a matter of fact, at least one of you was inspired by my first truck so which one of you (family members) will pay my $2700 house payment this month?

When I started there was no internet, just guys/ladies who built rides and we loved every day of it. We would roll into Tumbleweed restaurants cruise night 40 deep (40 ford behind an 82 cutlass behind an 90 S-10) and have fun. Average Joe doesnt know the difference, they just see something cool. And we loved every minute.

Quit being sheep and following the flock. We started by people wanting to express themselves and doing there own thing.

I havent seen much original in a long time. This doesnt meen there isnt lots of nice trucks just not much originality. Plain Jane was something original, not copied!Plain Janes owner really pulled a bitch move with his thread. He had a chance and blew it. Someone (not me) will be next, will you blow it?DO YOU!!!! We all have a creative bone, flex it!

This doesnt make much sense but I dont know what else to say. I go to LRM events, hotrod events, minitruck shows, NOPI, you name it,anything with a motor and I have never seen so many guys trying to act cool acting like sissies in my life.

Remember, the whole point to a custom auto is to express yourself, not to impress others, not to drag for others, not to outdo others.

EDIT:Remember, until I find a publisher, there is no handbook for building a custom ride

^^^^^ hey, jiggawho111 > which truck was the inspiration?does that really matter?I aint an 18 year old punk and I am not calling anyone out as an individual (that should be very obvious).

I have too much class (and respect) to come on here and say I did this or I did that so you should bow down to me cause I was on a DVD or I was in a magazine.

Whats wrong with mutual respect?

if you really need to know though its been published and mentioned here many times.

But again why does it matter?

if it makes you feel better I built an old school nissan on 15" KMC 5 stars with a whale tale and Ratical convertible conversion along with dayglo wipers, 8 15"kickers in my side tilt bed and snugtop. I rolled around wearing my Oakley (thermonuclear protection*) sunlgasses and sweet ass mullet.

*Anyone who remembers this is down in my book

Did you live in TN? You must have been cruising with us back in the day, because that describes all our trucks...LOL.
jiggawho111   +1y
hanging around you fools got me hatin too LOL!

I should not have said Plane Jane "Blew it" cause he didn't

I should have said he got caught up in the hype instead.

He builds sweet rides folks whether you like or not. You want something original, then think it up and if possible call this guy because he knows what it takes.

No disrepect intended although it came out very wrong!!!! My bad
