Also,.....What color base should I use to lay the flake down on??....Ive seen some start with a black base and some start with a silver base.....I want it to be solid flake, so does the color under the flake even matter??? "Lost Cause"

YES SIR I WILL STAND BEHIND THE GUN TO THE FULLEST. IT WORKS BEST WITH TWO PEOPLE TWO HOSES. I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND PRACTICE IT A COUPLE OF TIMES. THIS IS HOW WE DID IT SPRAYED A SILVER BASE THEN MIXED THE CLEAR AND LOADED UP THE BUSTER. THE LAID A TACK COAT OF CLEAR THEN FLASH AND THEN THE FULL WET COAT STARTED IN SECTIONS FOLLOWED WITH THE FLAKE AT 5PSI ON TOP OF IT. REPEAT THE PROCESS FOR COVERAGE THEN BURIED IN CLEAR. IF YOU NEED TIPS I GOT EM IVE USED THE GUN ALOT.

Looks like an undercoating gun I have used for bedliner. This one was $25.

I'll try it tomorrow. I have a jar to screw onto the gun. I'll see what the pattern looks like. I'll get back with you. Could save some money.

Thanks for all of your advice,Got Flake. I do have a couple of questions though,.....Like, how much flake was used on your truck? (It looks like alot!!) I'm not sure how much to buy? Also, What size flake did you go with and how much clear was used to level it out before you started spraying the kandy? Thanks, "Lost Cause"
