THATS AWESOME but i bet the reason its not being pushed for production on new cars is becasue it looks liek the only structure to the door is the outside skin so CRASHTEST are probably a FAIL.

coolest? really? seems like something someone owning a donk would try. sure wouldnt want it on my ride! a regular door, or at most suicide is just fine with me. Only real reason I could see that being used for is wheel chair capabilities....but they have been doing just fine with doors.
