what exactly do you mean by you cant' get the movement out of your rack?

when i flipped my tie rods(because of the ball maxing out) i also had to flip the lower ball joint on the LCA the same, to keep the motion range the same as the diagram.
but mine was slightly different because my susp is macstrut style and has no UCA. so i dont know exactly how that would affect the uppers.
but my toe is good both locked and dropped.

what is happening with my rack is that at the boot is doesnt have enought movent at that point

so when layed out my tie rod wont reach my spindle, so if i flip it will but then when lifted up in stops before i get full lift (clearing the fender to turn)

drop spindles i think are going to be my only answer ...

spindles should fix it if it's a traveling too far issue, BUT that means where you're bag is fully compressed right now, you'll be 2" (or whatever the spindle allows) lower... SO, you'll likely have to move your bag mount lower to compensate... make sense?

yeah thats the least of my worries i just gotta takle one thing at a time and steering is about as important as it gets ...
thought trying to lay my truck out on such a big wheel with a tall tire was going to have its problems but didnt really think this is what was going to hold me back ...

Go back and rear what Max said again about the rack following the control arm. You need to fully grasp that before moving on.

Anyways, I found a possible solution. Camburg makes this part for a Ranger rack and pinion, and it would allow limitless vertical travel.

ive been out of town for 3 days just thinking about all of this above and i GOT IT lol like a light popped on

(sorry if i came a cross hard headed lol )

and i think that is what i need seth ! guess its time to pull the rack off and move where my tie rod back to to where is it stock ....
but i think i still wanna keep the hiem for my steering .... hmmmm here we go again

Heres another one.

It looks like the just welded mounting tabs to the stock rack.

werd seth is on the right track with what you need
the problem is the inner tie rod doesnt have enough travel in the joint to allow the end to move that high im layed on 29.5 with drop spindles and i still have this problem
i am soon getting 285/35/24 which is 31.6 so i will def have to do this. i also am shortening my lower arm 1 inch and raising my uppers to whatever meets my needs
