I had to go find the order sheet for the wheels the rear backspace is 7 inches the front is 4. all wheels are 24X10.

Did you make those Spool lookin wooden wheels? what were they made out of, that's a nice idea for people who don't have the money to buy their wheels for a project before any of the parts.

Your exactly right! I had no cash for the Wheels and tires yet, But I knew what tires I would use. But I did NOT know what offset wheels to order. So I got the dimensions (Section width and overall diameter) Then made a wooden one!

I took 4X8X3/4 MDF like you use for speaker boxes. I cut out the center solid and drilled for the bolt pattern;

Then I cut two hoops the size of my tire.After that used 3/4 wooden dowels to connect the two outer hoops the max width of my tire.

So this way I could slide in and out from the center to figure out exactly what backspace I needed. I used the same system in the rear.

This pic I already posted

These are the others I have

The cut away you see is so I had an idea for the smaller front tires. I found out that the 305/35/24 was just too wide for the narrow front end, and I found no 35 tire in a 275 width. So I ended up with the much more expensive 275/30/24 for the front.

Oh and I did have boatloads of problems figuring out my tie rod position. So I used the square tube in the pic to act as a guide to rough align the front end.

Then I could cycle the suspension up and down to see how it would act. I played with the rack and outer tierod positions to find the best solution. Not perfect but acceptable. with out changing the Ackermann!!! I think? yes I did read all the BioMax posts first.

Can you go into more depth about the digital ride height sensors? Like what cables you got and whatever. I am interested in doing this.
